Challenge Math is an advanced enrichment course designed for students who demonstrate exceptional mathematical ability and are ready for rigorous, creative, and non-routine problem solving.
This course is intended for children performing at the highest academic levels. To enroll, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Students must score in the 95th percentile or higher on a grade-level achievement test such as MAP, Iowa Assessments, or a comparable standardized test, and in the 98th percentile or higher on a cognitive ability assessment such as CogAT, WISC, or an equivalent test.
The course will follow the Beast Academy math curriculum, known for its depth, challenging problem sets, and emphasis on conceptual understanding. Students will explore advanced mathematical topics, strengthen logical reasoning, develop flexible problem-solving strategies, and engage with material beyond the standard grade-level curriculum.
This program is best suited for students who enjoy mathematical challenges, think creatively, and are ready to work at an accelerated pace with other high-achieving peers.
